Position: Simulations Expert

Experience: 0 to 7 years

Job Description:
Making of a simulation, which may include activity and/or interactive, is essentially needed to impart complete understanding of the topic to the students. This has to be made on the topic, which has already been selected by the panel of experts and has already been scripted and animated. The type of simulation envisaged gives an opportunity to the student to play with different variables/factors by selecting the values of the parameters one by one using sliders and buttons. The idea is to bring the concept of a virtual laboratory into reality.
In view of the above, it becomes clear that the responsibilities of the subject- expert for simulation are manifold. These include:
*Finding a novel way of introducing the topic using new but still innovative examples.
*Animating the whole story through proper models/characters.
*Making the students understand better by using appropriate graphs made after extensive calculations.
*Getting the proper computer programs made from programmers for graphical and character representation.
In addition, the simulation has to be properly introduced with appropriate objectives. Instructions have to be given sequentially in a simple way so that the students do not get lost during the activity.
A lot of computer programming is required throughout from the inception to the end of the simulation. So, the subject-expert has to have a proper synchronization with the trained computer programmers and provide them the detailed equations needed to address the physics used in any simulation-developing software/ simulation engine.
Note: Animations & Programming part would be taken care of by the programmers & animators working with the company. Simulation experts are just required to give their ideas and guide the animators while they are making the animations.
